  Oslo was completely covered in roses last night.

  200,000 Norwegians had gathered in the city streets, carrying roses, to remember the people who lost their lives on Friday, and to stand together against the hate and violence. The streets were filled with love.

  Afterwards people spread the roses everywhere. On statues, fountains, brick walls, postboxes, bicycles, the windscreen wipers of police cars and ambulances, in fountains, along bridges, on traffic lights and roadsigns, between tramway tracks, in doorways, by broken windows, in the wire safety fences set up by the police to secure the bomb zone.
